A ban on outdoor construction works in the afternoon will come into effect in Bahrain and UAE on Wednesday. The ban applies to the hottest hours of the day and is designed to prevent workers from suffering heat strokes. In Bahrain the ban will last till October and will ban all outdoor work from 12 to 16pm. There is a 300 dinar fine per each worker for violating the ban.
