Bahrain crown prince expects demands from opposition
6:00 AM
Thousands of anti-government protesters camped overnight in Pearl Square in Manama waiting for negotiations with Gulf state's crown prince dated on Sunday. Crown Prince Sheikh Salman bin Hamad al-Khalifa is leading a national dialogue after days of unrest that has left at least six dead. "All political parties in the country deserve a voice at the table," Alarabiya.net quotes Sheikh al-Khalifa as saying. Today Bahrain's opposition is expected to put demands to the crown prince. On his orders troops and armored vehicles deployed on Thursday had withdrawn from the square.
