Lebanese press: war with Israel is far from over

Beirut-based press warned on Monday that Lebanon's conflict with Israel is still far from over. The articles of Lebanese newspapers are devoted to the last war between Hezbollah and the Jewish state that started four years ago. "The July War is not over," declared the front-page headline in the Al-Akhbar newspaper close to the Shiite militant party. "Four years after the end of the war... both parties look ready to leap back into action and are prepared both in terms of capacities and incentives," Alarabiya.net. quotes Al-Akhbar as saying. Much of Lebanon's major infrastructure was destroyed during the conflict. About 1,200 Lebanese, mainly civilians, and 160 Israelis, most of them soldiers were killed.
