Yemen protests turn street fights
4:15 AM
Unrest in Yemen turned violent as protesters clashed with security forces and government loyalists in Sanaa on the fourth consecutive day of demonstrations. In reference to the recent dramatic events in Egypt one of the most popular slogans is "After Mubarak, Ali". The Middle East has seen a wave of anti-government protest this year. Inspired by Tunisia and Egypt with the overthrow of presidents residents of other countries protest against their governments and president’s policy. Yesterday, violence erupted at an opposition meeting in the Iranian capital Tehran, while in Bahraini main city of Manama, policemen fired tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse dozens of protesters.
